rare 19th century French Luneville extra large ironstone pie platter

In all our searches, we have never come across a piece like this before—and we’re not sure that we will again. 

An absolutely incredible, exceptionally rare 19th century French pie or cake platter with the most delicious transferware details, including majestic swans, Roman solider medallions, and sumptuous, sublime flourishes. 

The overall design shows ever so slight variations in spacing, and speaks to the handmade quality of the piece. 

It has been remarkably preserved for its age, and is truly a one of a kind heirloom gem. 

Please note there is a chip on the underside of the platter that is only visible when the platter is turned over, and does not affect the overall integrity of the piece.
