Émile Tessier was, through his personality and his talent, the most emblematic earthenware maker of the Malicorne pottery house. 

From 1928 to 1971, his contributions to the pottery world were countless. His vast ceramic culture and profoundly modernist technique allowed him to build one of the most extensive earthenware factories in Western France.
