Framed hand-coloured etching of Oranmore Castle, a 15th-century tower house overlooking Galway Bay in County Galway, Ireland. Once the stronghold of the De Burgo family and a defensive landmark during the 1640s Confederate Rebellion, the castle later fell into disuse before being restored in the mid-20th century. Today, it stands as both a private residence and a distinctive heritage accommodation. This etching captures the castle’s historic presence with delicate hand colouring, presented in a frame for display. Sourced from a brocante in Marseille.
