Packages and Pricing

Each package requires a complimentary stay in your Airbnb for a minimum of 3 days. Customizations to packages can be discussed as well.

Package Tiers:

• Basic Package:                                                $2200 (includes $1000 curated items budget) +tax
  Recommended for styling of up to 2 or 3 rooms
• Design Consultation: Initial discussion and review of provided materials.
• Staging: Styling and photography of key areas using curated items.
• Curated Items Budget: $1,000 (post-discount, not including taxes).
• Deliverables: At least 15 edited photos for the Airbnb listing.

  Recommended for styling of up to 3 or 4 rooms
• Design Consultation: Initial discussion and review of provided materials.

• Deliverables: At least 25 edited photos for the Airbnb listing.

 

 Package breakdown:

1. Curated Items Pricing:

• Retail Pricing with Trade Discount: All items are considered at a 20% trade discount.

2. Design Consultation:

• Initial Consultation: One introductory phone call to discuss the project scope, followed by a review of photos and dimensions provided by the owner for the agreed-upon spaces.

3. Staging Execution:

• Labour and Time: Designing and styling your Airbnb while taking professional images.

4. Online Promotion:

• Photography and Marketing: For added value, we will be organically promoting our stay while we are there and sharing sneak peek photos. We will tag your Instagram handle (or website if unavailable). We will also use photos of your home on our Instagram, Facebook, and tiktok pages and will provide credit to your space.

5. Travel Expenses:

• Distance-Based Fees: For locations beyond 100 km from Pickering, Ontario, a travel fee of $0.65  per-kilometer (accounting for fuel, vehicle wear and tear, and travel time) will be charged.

6. Photo Delivery

·        Final product: Your edited photos will be emailed to you no later than 3 weeks after our stay at your Airbnb.

 

Optional Add-ons

Additional staging/styling hours: $200/hr

Additional Joliette inventory: Can be purchased at a 20% discount for up to 7 days following the stay. Shipping charges are extra and not discounted. These items will not be staged by Joliette.

Social Media Contest promotion and management: $100
We will promote a contest or giveaway and manage all aspects including the graphics, promotion on our social media channels, questions from entrants, and winner selection.

Dedicated newsletter to Joliette subscribers: $100
A full Joliette newsletter dedicated to our stay at your space highlighting the location and amenities, complimented by photos taken in your space.

 

Terms and Conditions

1. Property Preparation

• Clean and Furnished Space: Prior to Joliette's involvement, the Airbnb property must be in a clean, rentable condition, equipped with essential furniture such as beds, tables, and chairs.
• Provision of Property Details: The owner is required to provide current photographs and specific dimensions of the space, as requested by Joliette, no later than ten (10) days before the scheduled stay.
• Permissions: The owner must specify if and where Joliette can make holes in the walls to hang pictures. If this is not possible, please specify if you’d like to explore a different option such as command strips or sticky tack.

2. Scheduling and Access

• Agreement on Stay Duration: A complimentary stay of approximately three consecutive nights will be arranged, with exact dates and duration to be mutually agreed upon by both parties. The stay is necessary for Joliette's team to perform the staging work and should be treated like any other rental of your property.
• Exclusive Access: During Joliette's stay, the owner and any guests shall vacate the property to allow uninterrupted staging work. Regular updates, including photos of the design process, will be communicated via text if desired.

3. Financial Terms

• Deposit Requirement: A 50% deposit of the total service fee is required no later than ten days before the scheduled stay.
• Cancellation Policy: If the owner cancels the agreement up to seven days before the scheduled stay, a full refund of the deposit will be provided. Cancellations made six days or less before the stay will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
• Rescheduling Policy: Any requests to change the dates of the stay must be discussed with Joliette no later than ten days prior to the scheduled stay. If new dates cannot be accommodated, a refund will be granted, less a 20% block fee.
• Travel Fee: For properties located more than 100 kilometers from Pickering, Ontario, a travel fee may be applied.
• Additional Purchases Discount: Should the owner wish to acquire any extra staging items, a 20% discount is offered on all purchases made within seven days following Joliette's stay.
• Balance payment: The balance of the total service fee is due on the date of check-in to your property.
• No Refund Policy: All payments are final; no refunds will be issued once services have been rendered.

4. Design and Implementation

• Creative Autonomy: The owner grants Joliette full discretion to curate and design the space as deemed appropriate to achieve the desired aesthetic.

5. Deliverables and Usage Rights

• Photography Delivery: Joliette will provide at least 15 professionally edited photos suitable for Airbnb listings within three weeks after the staging is completed.
• Usage Rights: Joliette retains the right to use these photos for promotional purposes across various platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
• Promotion of Property: As part of the service, Joliette will feature the staged Airbnb property on its social media channels, enhancing its visibility.

6. Liability and Insurance

• Service Provider's Liability: Joliette shall perform its services with due care and professionalism and accepts liability for any direct damages resulting from its actions, omissions, or negligence during the staging process, except where such damages are due to the negligence or willful misconduct of the property owner.
• Insurance Coverage: Joliette maintains adequate insurance coverage, including public liability and property damage insurance, to cover potential liabilities arising from its services. Proof of insurance can be provided upon request.

7. Confidentiality

• Mutual Confidentiality: Both parties agree to keep the terms of this agreement, and any proprietary information obtained during the course of this collaboration confidential. Disclosure is permitted only to individuals who need to know such information for the performance of this agreement, such as legal counsel, accountants, or other professional advisors, all of whom shall be informed of and bound by this confidentiality clause.

8. Termination Clause

• Standard Termination: Either party may terminate the agreement no later than seven days before the scheduled stay without penalty.
• Illness or Emergency: In the event of illness or emergency affecting Joliette, the stay will be rescheduled upon mutual agreement. If no suitable dates can be agreed upon, Joliette will provide a full refund.

9. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing their obligations under this agreement due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, governmental actions, or other unforeseen events. The affected party shall notify the other party promptly upon becoming aware of such an event and shall make reasonable efforts to mitigate the impact and resume performance as soon as possible. If the force majeure event continues for an extended period, either party may terminate the agreement upon written notice.
