We adore coming across Napoleon III era pieces, with their classic ebonized wood finishes and carved details. 

This circa late 19th century style of coat rack would have been popularly used in bistros, as the cast iron hooks can be folded inwards when not in use. 

An heirloom piece of form and function, in good condition and well preserved, but also featuring soft signs of aging as pictured. 

Sourced from an estate in Aix-en-Provence.
