Tell us what you're looking for. We'll find it in France.

You send a wishlist. We carry it through the markets of Provence — Marseille, Avignon, Carpentras — and buy on your behalf, negotiating in French with the dealers we have worked with for years.

Everything is gathered, consolidated into a single shipment, and sent to your door. You never leave home, and nothing generic ever reaches the box.

Who It's For

Collectors who know exactly what they are hunting for, and would rather have someone on the ground find it.

Interior designers sourcing one-of-a-kind pieces for a client, without the airfare.

Anyone furnishing a room in French antiques who wants real market pieces rather than a catalogue.

What We Source

Small pieces that travel safely in a box:

Ceramics & pottery
Brass & copper objects
Religious items
Linens & textiles
Small artwork & prints
Woodenware
Books
Baskets
Decorative objects

Furniture and large-format pieces are not part of this service. For those, consider the Virtual Buying Experience or an in-person trip.

How It Works

Step One  —  Book

Pay the $500 CAD service fee at checkout to secure your place on the next sourcing trip.

Step Two  —  Your Wishlist

We talk through what you collect, what you're missing, colours, forms, and the budget you have in mind.

Step Three  —  Retainer

You receive your retainer invoice within 72 hours. This is your buying budget, and every euro of it goes toward your pieces.

Step Four  —  We Source

We buy on your behalf at the markets, negotiating in French with dealers we know personally.

Step Five  —  Home to You

A final invoice covers purchases and shipping. Once balances are settled, everything ships consolidated in one parcel.

The Retainer, Explained

The retainer is your buying budget — not an additional fee. Every euro is applied to the pieces you keep.

The minimum is €200. Larger wishlists call for a larger retainer, and we will recommend a figure once we understand what you're after.

We never purchase beyond the retainer. If something exceptional appears and you'd like more room, you can top up at any point.

Any unused retainer is applied first to your shipping costs, and anything left over is returned to you.

Shipping & Logistics

How long does it take?

Items ship two to four weeks after the sourcing trip. Transit typically runs 10 to 15 days, though that portion is out of our hands.

How is shipping priced?

By weight, box size, destination, and insurance level. Insurance is not optional — these pieces are irreplaceable.

Do you combine purchases?

Yes. Everything found across multiple market days is consolidated into one shipment to keep your costs down.

Questions

Do I need to know antiques?

Not at all. We guide you through every step, and the wishlist conversation does most of the work.

Is this suitable for interior designers?

Absolutely. It is a way to shop genuine one-of-a-kind pieces for a client without leaving your studio.

Can I cancel?

Because of the curated nature of this service, the $500 CAD fee is non-refundable. Any unused retainer is applied first to your shipping costs, with anything left over returned to you.
