1920s converted Dutch hanging oil lamp milk glass pendant

Beautiful in its simplicity, and timeless in its design, this milk glass pendant shade would have been converted from a Dutch hanging oil lamp (see pictures). And it features the sweetest detail we’ve never come across before—the socket seemingly coming out of the interior of a forged metal flower! 

We think now it would make the sweetest pendant light over a kitchen table or reading nook. Please note that this piece will need to be rewired to meet North American standards and to ensure current electrical safety standards are met.
