19th century french kingwood louis xv marble topped commode

This 19th-century French Louis XV commode, sourced from an estate in Aix-en-Provence, features a beautifully veined marble top and intricate ormolu details. Its curved design and warm patina make it a striking addition to any room, whether styled in an entryway or as a statement piece in a bedroom (The white veining in the marble is not a crack, just the unique style of the marble).

Made of Kingwood: a dense, fine-grained hardwood from the Dalbergia genus, often used in high-end 18th-century French furniture and marquetry.

Note the signs of age and wear as pictured including some chips to the veneer.
