antique french reversible card table

A guéridon-style side table in walnut with a reversible top — burled wood on one side, green baize on the other — set on an open X-stretcher base with turned spindle details and brass hoof feet. The two-in-one function was practical and deliberate: the baize side for cards, the burl side for everything else. The brass hoof feet are a quality detail that lifts this well above ordinary side tables. Sourced from a brocante in Marseille.
