A 1963 German wedding telegram featuring a vibrant printed cover of a newlywed couple outside ornate gates, the other a bouquet of flowers with the message Viel Glück (“Much Happiness”). Inside it contains typed wedding wishes, offering a glimpse into postwar German traditions of sending formal congratulations by mail.
The message reads:
"Heartfelt congratulations and God's blessings. Wishing you all the best, Maria Daerr and son Will"
These telegrams make thoughtful additions to vintage paper or ephemera collections, and they also work beautifully as framed art — particularly in a bedroom, hallway, or wedding-themed gallery wall. They can even be displayed at weddings as nostalgic décor or conversation pieces.
dimensions: 11.75"L x 8.25"W
