A striking original drawing by German artist Robert Ralves, created in 1950 and signed “Robert Ralves, München.” Rendered in ink and pastel on paper, this work captures the stained glass windows of the Protestantische Pfarrkirche Freinsheim in the historic Palatinate region. Likely produced as part of a postwar architectural study, the piece showcases vibrant biblical scenes with fine linear detail and soft, layered colour. Framed behind glass in a classic black wood frame, it offers both historical and aesthetic appeal—a rare glimpse into mid-century ecclesiastical documentation.

Note the signs of age and wear as pictured including a tear to the paper. It is under glass so it will not worsen.
