This vintage reverse glass painting of St. Anthony was found in a market in Rosenheim.  Saint Anthony the Great (c. 251–356 AD) was one of the most famous Desert Fathers and is considered the father of Christian monasticism, a religious way of life in which individuals dedicate themselves to spiritual work and the pursuit of holiness.
