This Posters of the 'Fin de Siècle' Exhibition Poster dates around 1969 and was used to promote Posters of the 'Fin de Siècle', a loan exhibition from the Victoria & Albert Museum. The poster features a black-and-white line drawing of a fashionably dressed woman in turn-of-the-century attire, set against a vivid purple background. It pays homage to the elegance and graphic style of the Belle Époque, echoing the aesthetics of Toulouse-Lautrec and other masters of the poster art movement. Both a promotional item and a collector's piece in its own right, it reflects a mid-century fascination with the art of the 1890s.
