large antique french Longwy transferware compotier

This gorgeous handpainted compotier is an example of classic French ironstone. Manufactured by Longwy, this is the highly sought after Ycho design. It has lovely signs of age and wear, including some areas of slight discolouration as pictured, but no chips or cracks. Use to display a stack of croissants or macarons. Sourced from an estate in Aix-en-Provence.
