A vintage Sarreguemines fish tureen, glazed in beautiful turpentine shades of brown that shift from golden amber to deep chestnut. The piece, shaped like a fish, is both whimsical and artful — a wonderful example of Sarreguemines’ playful approach to tableware design. The lid fits snugly, and the underside bears the Sarreguemines stamp, confirming its French origin.

This tureen would have been used for serving sauces or pâtés but today makes a striking centerpiece or decorative accent on a dining table or sideboard.
