A rare antique transferware platter by W. H. Grindly and Co. England in the "Olympia" style. W H Grindley was an English pottery company that made earthenware and ironstone tableware. The company was founded in 1880 by William Harry Grindley, JP of Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent. The stamp on the back of this plate indicates that it was made between 1881 and 1914. Sourced from a home in Trets.
