A lovely vintage French necklace composed of repeating marquise-shaped links in gold-toned metal, each one filled with an intricate mock filigree pattern of fine scrollwork and tiny circles that catch the light beautifully. The links are connected by slim bar spacers, giving the necklace a rhythm and movement that sits wonderfully against the collarbone. The clasp is stamped "bP," a French hallmark indicating gold-plated metal. The kind of piece that works just as well with a linen shirt on a summer day as it does dressed up for an evening out. Sourced from an antique dealer in Marseille.
