This turn of the century bijoux casket is truly an heirloom piece with its thick beveled glass, stamped ormolu details and interior blue fabric tufted cushion (it’s often difficult to find these pieces with their interior fabric to well intact!) This box features an image of the Palais Jacques Coeur, a palace and historical landmark in Bourges, France, and was once sold as an early tourist souvenir.
We found this piece in Marseille and now you can bring it home to house your petite treasures and curiosities.
While each piece is in good antique condition, note that there may be signs of age to both the glass and the ormulou frame, as pictured.
