A beautifully crafted porcelain cake stand, hand decorated with a delicate floral pattern on cream porcelain, and scalloped molded rims with gilt detailing. 

The hallmark on the underside dates the production of this piece to 1884 - 1906. 

In beautiful antique condition with no chips or cracks.

A wonderful and authentic piece of fine Limoges porcelain.

NOTES:

French porcelain company G. Demartine & Cie (G.D. & Cie) operated during the late 1800s and into the 1920s. They produced pieces for other decorating studios, both in Limoges and abroad, and they had their own decorating sector, called 'Avenir China'.
