One of our favourite finds from our new collection: an incredibly sweet and perfectly quirky 1920s Henri Delcourt art deco ceramic lamp, featuring an uncommon slender “soliflore” ceramic base and something incredibly rare: a period fabric lamp shade with velvet trim and matching painted flowers.

Sourced from a home in the Loire Valley, it is truly a one of a kind treasure, to use and cherish.

Please note signs of age to fabric, that add to the overall charm of the piece.

***This piece requires rewiring to meet North American standards**

NOTES:

In 1918 Henri Delcourt bought shares in the company of Boulogne-sur-Mer and was the head of the pottery. Henri Delcourt appealed to artists such as Jacques Adnet, Louis Sue or Sibylle May who make his production available to the Paris market and in particular the designs studios of department stores such as Primavera (Au Printemps) and La Maîtrise (Galeries Lafayette. He became one of the biggest names in Art Deco style in the fields of ceramic as well as porcelain. He sold the pottery company in 1932.

They have such great products I could not stay away. I don't live near their store so I did not expect to be able to purchase furniture online at a decent shipping rate. I was so happy to see that the shipping rate was amazing and the customer service even better. I highly recommend them and will most likely purchase from them again!
