A tiny sepia miniature print set under a convex glass lens in a deep ebonized wood tondo frame with a brass inner ring — the format used throughout 18th and 19th century France for portrait miniatures and decorative keepsakes. The scene depicts an elegant couple in a garden, rendered in the soft Rococo manner typical of engravings after Watteau or Fragonard. The verso shows original painted wood with brass clips and a hanging hook, all intact. Small enough to hold in your palm. Sourced from a brocante in Marseille.
