Empire style took its cues from the reign of Napoleon; during this time period, the aesthetic influences revolved around Roman, Greek and military symbols in an attempt to relate Napoleon to an Emperor and transform France into an empire. 

This sublime pair of light fixtures features the iconic Empire figural shape of arrows, and a black accented wall plate which was a classic Napoleon III element. 

Beautifully crafted from brass with careful attention to detail, they are works of art in and of themselves, and show wonderful signs of hand made imperfections and age. A fantastic pair of heirloom pieces to use and cherish for a lifetime. 

Please note this pair will require rewiring in order to be compatible with North American electrical standards.
