19th century French silver and seashell snuff box

A fantastic and unique little piece of history, this stunning piece is a converted shell, with the addition of a silver finishing end, and a silver and shell opening. Now we think it makes an incredible little box to hold petite treasures, or a unique piece for a cabinet of curiosity or coffee table vignette.
