We love finding framed antique textiles, and it’s always a pleasure finding embroidery pieces, showcasing talent and creativity from long ago. This piece is dated 1891, and states that “Nantes” is where it was made. A gorgeous little piece of history, encased in a stunning antique Napoleon III ebony frame with faded Grecian gilt accents. Please note signs of wear to frame as pictured that only add to the overall beauty of this piece. 

Sourced from an estate in Aix-en-Provence.
